 The Geological Association of Canada presently sponsors two national lecture tours: Hutchison Medal Lecture Tour- carried out by the 2010-2011 winner of the Hutchison Medal : Octavian Catuneanu of the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Alberta). |
 and the Howard Street Robinson Lecture Tour- chosen by the Mineral Deposits Division and the Precambrian Division of the GAC® in alternate years. The lecturer for 2010-2011 is Phil Thurston of Laurentian University. |
