 The Geological Association of Canada presently sponsors two national lecture tours: Hutchison Medal Lecture Tour- carried out by the 2009-2010 winner of the Hutchison Medal : Michael W. Caldwell of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Alberta). |
 and the Howard Street Robinson Lecture Tour- chosen by the Mineral Deposits Division and the Precambrian Division of the GAC® in alternate years. The lecturer for 2009-2010 is Dan Marshall of Simon Fraser University. |
