Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences

The Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences (CJES) is
published by the National Research Council of Canada Research Press. It
is recognized
for its wide-ranging coverage of research in geophysics, paleontology,
structural geology, tectonics, mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, stratigraphy,
glacial geology, and other related Earth Science topics. Its Special
Issues concentrate on a particular segment of the Earth Science field.
The Geological Association of Canada has chosen the Canadian Journal
of Earth Sciences as its principal medium of publication of scientific
papers. It can be ordered for less than half the regular price upon joining
or renewing membership in GAC®.
CJES publishes 12 issues annually, and is also available electronically at

Canadian Geotechnical Journal
The Canadian Geotechnical Journal is one of the three leading
geotechnical publications with an international circulation. It is noted for its explicit articles on engineering practice related to foundations, excavations, soil properties, dams, and slopes. It offers extensive articles on new developments in geohydrology, rock engineering, geochemistry, waste management and contaminant transport, frozen soil, ice and snow, offshore soils, and geostatistics.

This new NRC Journal,
affiliated with the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, provides an
effective forum for the dissemination of environmental research, encouraging
interdisciplinary research collaboration to address the multi-faceted nature
of environmental problems. It addresses all aspects of environmental
engineering and applied environmental science.
